Real Ghost Footage – How to Locate Scary Ghost Videos
With the invention of YouTube came copycats, who have flooded the internet with piles of user created videos including home recordings of paranormal activity and odd or unique situations which cannot be explained. Unfortunately, many or a large portion of these videos are either hoax, fake, or of such terrible quality it’s hard to tell if you’re gazing at a ghost or a battered piece of wood with an unusual grain pattern. To combat the tedious search for some scary ghost footage, try checking out these places for high quality videos submitted by trusted sources or credible websites.
Ghost Hunter / Ghost Tour Websites – locate local ghost clubs, groups, or ghost tour companies and you will probably find a multimedia gallery of pictures, videos, and recordings of ghosts, spirits, demons, and entities. Orbs, ribbons, and apparitions are usually found with a simple search on Google, Yahoo, or Bing. I’ve enjoyed a few evening ghost tours in St. Augustine and have found lots of their internet sites to contain photo galleries of all the paranormal activities that happen during their nightly tours. Many of the photographs or pictures are down right scary, hard to explain, or of creepy circumstances. Of course, some can be debunked based on lights, cigarette smoke, etc.
Above Top Secret – The forum on the ATS website contains a category devoted to the paranormal that provides a platform for mature users debating the authenticity of ghost footage, pictures, events, or actual stories that users share. A good deal of the video’s produced or presented are shown to be faked through photoshop editing, illusion camera angles, or tricks to confuse the viewer or draw attention away from the hoax.
Dailymotion – A website nearly identical in style to YouTube, Daily Motion provides an abundance of ghost and paranormal related videos. Do a quick search for best ghost videos or real ghost footage and wade through the thousands of results. Scrolling through the videos at 2 or 3am can sure get your skin to crawl or the hair on your neck to stand up, especially if your all alone.
Youtube – Of course we can’t forget about Youtube, it’s the top website for user generated videos. Scattered throughout the pages is some excellent ghost footage, creepy hauntings, real ghost stories and other cool movies. The issue with many of these types of sites is going through the easy to spot fakes to find the authentic good stuff. Many times you find higher quality paranormal footage by looking at the amount of viewers the video has already received.
Regardless of your personal decision or choice, any of the websites will provide some really scary ghost footage that will either frighten you, scare you, or perhaps implore you to interact in some fun debate. Whatever website you decide to explore, it’s a entertaining way to kill some time, and possibly open your eyes to something new or unique.
