Whats your Favorite Stephen King Book?
I’m working my way through The Stand which I am loving. I saw the mini series of it on TV and wanted to read it. I have seen a few other Stephen King films, IT (obviously) and I am planning to read that next. But whats your favorite S.K. Book so I can keep reading his books!
If you are looking for pure horror, then I would recommend that you check out Pet Semetary [his scariest book, in my opinion], the Stand, Salem’s Lot, Bag of Bones, or Gerald’s Game.
If you want something that deviates from horror a bit, then I would strongly recommend that you check out The Green Mile or some of his short stories–especially Rita Heyworth and the Shawshank Redemption and the Body.
I’d also be remiss if I didn’t suggest that you check out The Dark Tower series–a seven-volume tale that he wrote over the course of three decades. Dark Tower is tough to classify, but a very worthwhile read.
